Medicina's sauce with ham and golden onion is made by combining ingredients originating from our territory. To the tomato from Emilia Romagna, we added ham from our area and the famous golden onion from Medicina. This well-known variety of onion is typical of the province of Bologna. In this sauce the characterizing element is the ham, carefully selected from the Emilian territory. Cervia salt completes this recipe which well represents the traditional cuisine of Emilia. Sweetness and balance in a single jar.

Medicina's sauce with ham and golden onion is suitable for various preparations in the kitchen. In a pan, start heating the ham sauce over a low heat, add 400g of peas and cook them over a medium heat with a lid, stirring occasionally. If necessary, add a little hot water to prevent them from sticking. Season with salt and flavor with aromatic herbs to your taste. Serve them hot. It is also easy to use as a pasta sauce. Cook the pasta you like best, paying attention to the cooking times and keeping them al dente. In the meantime, warm a jar of Pantry sauce in a sufficiently large pan. 200g of a jar is enough for 2-3 servings. Once the pasta is cooked, pour it into the pan and sauté quickly.
