It is the typical Tuscan ragù , which goes well with any type of first course , whether short pasta , long pasta or egg pasta . In Tuscany they use " macaroni " which are nothing more than common tagliatelle .
Chianina ragù is one of the specialties of Simone Fracassi , a butcher known both for PGI Chianina meat and for pork .
Fracassi has reinterpreted renowned traditional recipes from Rassina, a small town in the province of Arezzo, packaging them in glass, ready for use. The Tuscan Chianina ragù , unlike the white one, is cooked with the addition of tomato.
As can be seen from reading the ingredients, they are all natural and contain no colourants , preservatives and/or additives of any kind.
