DISCOVERIES OF THE PAST, TREASURES OF THE PRESENT

The upheavals of the early 20th century, and in particular the First World War, which destroyed more than half of the Louis Roederer estate, pushed Léon Olry Roederer to rebuild his vineyard. He decides to buy grapes to guarantee the continuity of the Maison in this period of crisis and, on the same occasion, creates a multi-vintage wine that expresses a constant taste, whatever the year of the harvest: the current Brut Premier.

ONE ASSEMBLY, ONE SIGNATURE

A blend of approximately 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier, Brut Premier combines wines vinified in oak barrels from the three Champagne vines, coming from different crus selected by Louis Roederer. It is aged for 3 years in the cellar and rested for at least 6 months after disgorging.

A point of balance between youth and maturity, between seduction and character, between freshness and vinosity, Brut Premier is a large and structured blended wine, elegant and energetic, incredibly vibrant. Its structured texture, its richness and persistence are decidedly vinous. Complete, complex, modern and powerful at the same time, it still remains a great classic.
