Krug Clos du Mesnil 2000 celebrates the sparkling purity of a Chardonnay produced from a single plot protected by walls, the Clos du Mesnil, one of the most beautiful terroirs in the region, from a single variety and a single harvest, that of 2000.

Protected by walls since 1698, the legendary 1.84 hectare Clos du Mesnil vineyard lies in the heart of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, one of the most renowned villages in the Champagne region for the production of Chardonnay. The privileged location and the small size of only 1.84 hectares make Krug Clos du Mesnil 2000 a rare pearl.

Krug Clos du Mesnil 2000 has bright and very light golden tones, with hints of green.
The nose reveals aromas of ripe apple, toffee, barley sugar, shortcrust pastry, raisins, honey, acacia and citrus fruits. Generous aromas of peach, white flowers, gingerbread, honey and orange peel emerge on the palate.
